Not a bad shot, I think it would look more effective if you re-composed the shot so you could see just a bit more of it's face, mainly that eye you can only just see. Brighten it up a little bit more also (might be my screen though), the colour of the sky is brilliant but the actually lion looks a little dull/shadowed.

I agree with Chantelle regarding the composition. On a positive note, the exposure looks great.
