I thought the lines looked kind of interesting with the colours.
Comments, ideas, suggestions and thoughts welcome....

I like the selective focus here; aside from that unfortunately i think you missed the shot. The only "star" in this shot is the barbed wire and yet you included other elements that confuse the shot IMO. For me I ask myself what is the shot about? ...and do the other elements in the shot contribute to it. If they don't, then the shot should be recomposed. (You asked...:))
I should say the colour palette you've chosen IS nice as well - but the shot isn't about the colour palette either right.
Hope that helps

I think marko pretty well said it. Another shot, different composition. I just find it hard to see.

Thanks Marko, I asked :) because I wasn't sure if I got it...I had a feeling I missed it cuz it didn't quite look right to me but I guess I hoped maybe I was wrong....I guess I'm getting better at analyzing this stuff than I realize.

You are going about this in the right way. Post - ask - learn.

It's very difficult sometimes to see the "faults" in our own work and yet we often find it simple to find the faults in the work of others....

Which is really weird, because in most other things, we are usually our own biggest critics....Some food for thought, I guess.

It was a nice try, Casil :o Live and learn, eh?
