a close up of the clock on westminster abbey. I printed this out and put it in my office to remind me that while I can spend time I can never own it.

Love the clock but I keep wanting to tilt my head to the side...lol.
I know this isn't the crit section so I am hesitant to say this but the angle isn't working for me. :)
But hey that's just me... :)

no that's okay. the angle was unavoidable given the distance I needed to take the picture. for me I liked it, but that's just me and I have limited knowledge :)
I have this one printed and framed for my office to remind me that time is slipping away. and that it was from a fantastic trip (it's clock on westminster abby).

It's not mathematic, but let me tell that this can be the "right" angulation.
Very effective.

It's a pleasure for me, really, and I've already known the excellent general level (human and technic) of this site.
Bye!!!

Man, look at the architecture/sculpturing in there! They really went out of the way in those days didn't they!! Don't think I've ever seen this clock so close up before so that's cool in itself! :)

You know MA I completely agree with you. I've also been to Ireland and the artwork in the churches blew my mind. The first time I walked into Westminster Abby I couldn't speak. I was totally overwhelmed. And they don't allow you to take pictures :yell: they have ones you can buy but those are not necessarily the ones I would take.
My husband saved my life numerous times in London. I was so entranced with looking around me that I often forgot where I was going. He kept pulling me out of traffic! Good thing he loves me ;).

I think I'd need to be on a leash and would take hours to cover a few blocks in those places.
