Another Newb..

Hello people...

I had a birthday last week, and my wonderful girlfriend bought me a Rebel XTi. I don't know where she found a new one, but she did. I prefer the XTi over the newer XSi and XS.

I'm new to "real" photography. My experience has always been old 35mm film cameras, and just digital point and shoot cameras. I've spent the last 4 days playing with the camera, checking out different settings and the like, just learning my camera.

I'm also an avid motorcycle rider, so I'm really looking forward to riding to different and remote places to take pictures.

Of all the sites I've been scanning on photography, I think I like this one the most. All of the members here seem to offer true help/opinions/thoughts...

Welcome!! I think you'll will find that there is a really good mix here of people here that range from experienced professionals to people who are new to photography. And what can I say... Were just alot of fun.. lol
