Concentrating

I like this shot, a lot. After some work in PP it isnt quite what I was hoping I could make out of it. It is my Great Uncle who has seen his fair share of life. Its fun to listen to his stories. Some of them are quite perverted but he will talk about anything as old as he is. Kind of hard to hold a conversation with him anymore, but his eyes and face tells a great story. In this picture, one of the home aides is asking him what he wants to eat for the day. You can tell he is concentrating REAL hard.

It's an interesting shot and has a documentary feel to it. I like the inquisitive look. But especially the way you describe him makes me wish we were looking straight into his eyes instead of a profile view. I'd love to see some face shots. Not sure if it's the resolution but the eye doesn't look tack sharp to me. hope that helps - Marko

Marko you hit the nail on the head. I much prefer the straight on shot. I have another one in the show thread. These pictures are sharp, but not tack sharp. The lighting wasnt too bad, but the shutter speed wasnt where I wanted it. Even worse, I forgot to turn on the image stabilization which would have helped out quite a bit. Im not too worried about it, but it could have been much better. Thanks for the input.
