Thought I would take a shot at wildlife photography. Took a walk on the Elbow River pathway risking great danger to myself. (slippery mud and goose pooh) I stalked my prey risking great danger to myself. (possibly getting hissed at) I returned relatively unscathed with a card full of photos. (whew!)

Raiven ... without doubt you should do this more often. Don't be 'chicken' next time. That's a great shot! You haven't made a 'goose' of yourself at all here.
I know it's only a 'cheep' shot and I shouldn't 'chirp' on too much here and stick my 'beak' in, but the only thing I can possibly think of that would improve this would be to dodge in the eye a tad ... just a 'sparrows' fart will do. ;)
I reckon you should 'spread your wings' and explore more of this type of photography.
Boy, what a 'turkey' I am for writing all that but it's your fault for always 'egging' me on. Guess it's too late for me to 'worm out' now! http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/hihi.gif
Anyhow ... must 'fly' ... http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/groan.gif

Lol, thanks Gem! And uh oh M.A. don't even get me started with the puns. The geese are returning to the city at this time of year, the sensible ones that actually go south that is.

When they first return they have a tendency to 'frolic' all over the downtown area before settling down and raising chicks on the river. You see them in your yard, walking together down sidewalks, and on the roofs of houses and apartment buildings. It's quite funny actually.

What puns?

It sounds cool to me ... having all those geese wandering around like they are human :D
