I haven't been out shooting much lately. If I have gone out it has been a half-hearted stroll and the results have reflected the effort.
Yesterday I went out with a little more intent. Each year I promise myself to photograph the canola fields in flower, but always seem to leave it too late. Yesterday I was lucky enough to have nice skies too. I love canola season, although I find it hard to capture the feeling of seeing the expanse of the yellow.

Not canola but fits the theme of lone tree
