I have a local printing business that makes signs contact me for using some of my images on their signs. They have offered to do some printing for me in return for the use of my photos. So far, I've had them print one 8X10 print for me. They've used several images now, and some of the signs are quite large. Recently the contacted me to use and image that will on along the side of a van. I want a 16X24" canvas and she has offered to print it for me at the cost of $50 for the use of one of my images to go on the van. I feel like given the amount of photos they've used, that I am being taken advantage of.

So what do those of you who sell your digital images charge? This is a high resolution photo.

I’ve never sold digital photos but I know they don’t sell for a ton. I’ve met a guy that shoots for Sports Illustrated and TOPP’s Sports Cards. He got paid next to nothing for images, something like $60 an image unless it became a cover photo, then it jumped to something like $120.
If I was you, I would tell the company that your images are $40 each, if they buy ten of them (or something along those lines). Make it a sliding scale, one image $75, five images $250, ten images $400.

Well, I haven't seen many people willing to sell off their photos. But I believe the average price would be $40-50 approximately.
