Hide & Seek?!

During a visit in a game reserve one of the deers tried to play “hide & seek” with me.
:goodvibes he didn’t knew, that I am getting a trained photographer eye and hasn’t had any chance ;-).
I used the flash and have had to retouch his blue glowing eyes – hope, it works this way?

lol - thats too funny! silly deer, that tree is too small! haha :) very different deer than we see around this part of the world! sure looks soft & fuzzy (except for the antlers!) the green on the tree is slightly distracting for me, as its dominating over the animal, and i may try to sharpen those eyes a bit, but the retouch on the color worked just fine as far as i can tell!

I think it works very well; there are some minor technical issues, but critique of things like that has to be weighed off against the circumstance. Commenting on minor exposure or compositional issues in images like this is to me, much like castigating a combat photographer for having an image slightly out of focus.
