Shadows leading way to church.

The shadows act as leading lines here which adds to the visual aspect of this composition.
That said....for me, the shadows have very little to do with building...and including them changes the the whole story.
I would have looked for foreground elements that better blend in with the story...OR kept the focus on the incredible building itself by zoomin/walking. The building itself is a strong enough main subject.
As for the PP, This could pop way harder..contrast is too low.....there are no whites here......feels flat.
Levels play for sure...I'd up the highlights by a good 20%
Hope that may help

Thanks Marko for your comments. I agree that I can probably make this pop a little better. Here is a reworked pic
As for the shadows, it is interesting your comment. I guess the saying "Ask 10 photographers for comments and you will get 10 different answers". The organizers were the ones who suggested including the shadows and they thought that's what made this picture.

I hear you on the opinions...but only 1 counts.
Mine. Lol.
(I guess I've seen this type of shot so many times....... it just seems too easy.......Is the image about tourists at a building...has that become the story?...Personally I'd rather see natural environmental elements in the foreground that enhance the story.....)
I think you went 10-15% too far on the levels play here.
