Short notice Golf Photography

Boss just informed me he wants pics taken tomorrow at our golf tourny

16 people 4 foursomes shot gun start

I'm taking my 18-105 for a group pic and the 4 somes

and my 150-500 for on the course

But I'm also playing in the tourny not sure how this will go any help??

Don't over-analyze it. This is not (I hope) a professional gig. You are participating and taking the photos. Boss likely doesn't expect much more than to capture the "exciting time" for some in-house promotion. (Making assumptions here).

I would take the 18-105 on a single body and leave it at that. Don't drag a bunch of gear with you. Get what you can with what you will be comfortable carrying. Try and have fun and capture as many people as possible. Best idea would be to tee off last so you can get each of the teams as they tee off. Then pick them up at cross over spots on the course, etc. and then I assume there will be much merriment back at the clubhouse afterwards where you can take a bunch of shots.
