Well it's Saturday and I woke up in a sweat with only six weeks till deadline. Anyway I sifted through some files from the last time I did this shoot and came up with these. I really want to raise the bar this time...

Nice captures. Not sure if I missed a memo; which bar are we raising, and on what?

Sorry...I always assume the world is psychic...Got myself a really large contract with local emergency services to deliver 4 videos and a shwack of stills. I have 8 weeks to get it all done but two of those are committed to another project. its mostly run and gun stuff though last time I got to spend all day on the hovercraft with the video camera.

Gorgeous shots as always, Michaelaw. ( Actually my real words were holy crap!)
I like the last one the best, the clouds add a touch of drama :)

Thanks everyone. I'm nervous as hell but at the same time very excited. I'm trying to get the to let me spend a day in the air ambulance but haven't heard back yet.

Sure will be if it gets the green light. Last year as I said, I got to spend all day on the hovercraft during training exercises during which time we attended a real emergency call for a sinking sailboat. As the hovercraft sped toward the sailboat I was weightless a lot as the craft fell between the waves of the choppy waters, very hard to get a stable video shot. I also got to spend a shift in a regular ambulance and felt first hand what it's like to race into traffic in the wrong lane. This time I've convinced them that stills are the way to go, Just hope I'm right:)
Heres one from inside the hovercraft. I didn't use a flash because I felt it may have disrupted the crew who were trying to find the sinking boat. Looking back, I regretted that call but live and learn:)

Wow ... what an experience. I'm sure you'll 'see' the right shots to take Michael.
