My challenge to any and all members is to go back two years (or as far back as you can) and process an image that you never processed before.

I will post first.
From Early December 2012. We were waiting to ride in the Christmas parade, wife and Morgan just goofing around.
I didn't realize how sharp this image was until now.

VERY VERY good challenge... fun start AT!
I've been sucky at the challenges these past months - but I'm doing all 3 this weekend.
Ya I've said that before but this time I'm putting it in agenda (what am I from 1987....I mean in Google Calendar)

This one is from July 2011. I am beginning the reconsider how good my original kit lens actually was/is.
Good challenge. Actually, lately I have been re processing from some of my old scanned slides from the 80s.

What would be a scarier challenge is to post some of our original processing from when we first started, that we currently look at and cringe..

I just realised that I had already processed the monkey image above at the time, so it wasn't one I had never done before (sorry I didn't meet the brief). I did process from scratch though, as I used the original unaltered raw file (and hadn't recently seen the first attempt). It was good to see the difference in the result and my interpretation.

That's why I made this challenge. It makes people go back and edit an image that was not good enough on the first round. The image basically would have hit the cutting room floor back in the film days.
I don't send any images to the recycle bin (unless it's just trash). I got the idea for this challenge the other day when I finally had to clean up my computer and I was out of room. I deleted a lot of images that were never processed.

I don't think I ever posted this anywhere. Came across it while searching for some old files.

Here's one from September 2009. I wasn't really happy with it, even after this edit. The composition feels all wrong. But it's a good example of the crap I was shooting back then shortly after getting my first DSLR.

I was trying to find something decent that I hadn't already processed. Found this one from 2010 to see if I could make something of it. Here is the edit plus the original. Still not great but better than the original.
