Longtails

[Mike Bons]

I've been mainly concentrating on redheads and bluebills but here are a few longtail pics from a couple of days ago. The ice is receding on the bay but as its does the deepest pocket is way out in the middle of the bay. So I had to go chase them and shot these from my canoe which was a really treat trying to keep the AF points on the bird.
All taken with the 6D + 400 5.6.
