Geese and Goldeneye

Shot with Tamron 150-600 on 7DII on a monopod. I've taken the lens out several times and at first could not get any shots in focus. Sent it back to Tamron Canada for service and with some adjustment and firmware update it works a little better. At least I get more keepers. I try not to shoot at 600mm, since this seems to produce many soft shots. Also it seems to work best with the vibration control off, since it apparently works against the camera's new focusing system. It might take a while to try all the possible combinations.

Good set. The panning shot is great and the others are nice and sharp.

It always takes a while to work out the best way to handle new gear. How does that lens go on the 5D?
