Has anyone had a good experience with Aluminum printing that is high quality and has an easy ordering system?

Yes! Imagewizards.net rocks
I received one of my images on all 4 of their finishes. I was SUPER happy with quality and fab friendly service. Not cheap, but worth it for a rare fabulous print that screams for aluminum printing.

I just ordered one yesterday from Posterjack who I have used for printing on Hahnemuhle paper so I will let you know in a week or two how it turns out. I have been pleased with those. They do not offer 4 finishes but they are a Canadian company or rather they have Canadian offices so not charge exchange or duty. :)

I just got my PosterJack brushed aluminum photo today. They did a good job. It took less than 3 days to arrive from Toronto and because it was over $150 shipping was free. They did a good job packing it. I had a "floating' mount added to hang it. It is rather cool because the photo is the abstract of the Bow I posted here in AT's challenge thread. So all in all a good experience.

Can you let us know what the final price was and the size to compare?

Yep, I had it printed at 20 X 30 with a float mount attached so that it hangs away from the wall. The cost of printing was $164.99 and the bar was an additional $34.99 for 199.98 plus GST.

Quick question for anybody who wants to answer it. What type of picture works best for a metal print.

Image Wizards get a lot of complaints about black hair coming out green, and PosterJack are quite expensive.

Does anyone know of other options for consumers, ideally with an easy to order system online (no downloads)?

Way back when, Scott Kelby wrote on his blog about a couple of metal printing companies:

My First Prints on Metal | Scott Kelby's Photoshop Insider (http://scottkelby.com/2009/my-first-prints-on-metal/)

One of the replies mentioned Bay Photo:

And Aluminyze:

yeah Bay Photo get the same complaints as Image Wizards with the blacks coming out green. Aluminyze are reviewed very well from researching it and from checking the website they don't require downloading software and offer a discount too. Thanks for the help everyone!

It doesn't seem to me like you actually ordered your own image wizard print..... the print I had done was multi coloured with green and black tones in it. Blacks are black with no green tint or tone on my print on all 4 finishes - though the finish itself does change the tones/contrast a bit depending on which one you choose.
My fave was White aluminum ultra gloss - fabulous fabulous tonal quality and contrast with true pure blacks on my print.
