I'm at work so I cannot post the image right now, but the last image I posted to my Flickr acct, by pure accident, I found the mother of the kid running. She couldn't be there yesterday because she was sick. She happened to be a friend of a friend on FB.

She wants a poster of it. I am going to give it to her, but I am not happy with it. If any of you PS craftsman want to edit it for me, please do.

It's specialolympics41.

She wants a 20x30 poster of it.

I assume it is this one??

There isn't much that needs to be done to it. Was there something specific you were looking for? (other than removing the red behind his head and general tidy up)

I know you want a PS craftsman, but if it is OK I might also have a play? I too am at work, but will have a look tonight.

Ignore my question, you have already answered it. (I am sure this info wasn't in the original post when I responded????)

Do what you feel needs to be done. I'm just not happy with the over all tones. Maybe soften the image (in a nice way). When I try to soften an image, it just looks like a blurry image.

Yes, that is the image.

I'm at work tonight, so there is no rush.

Thanks Run (and any one else that wants to try).

If you want to wait, I can post the unedited version of the image, just converted from RAW. It will be a bigger file and no vingette that I added. I will be home in about 10 hours from now.

Yes that would be good, or even put the raw file on dropbox or something.

I wont be home for another 6 hours

RAW on Dropbox would be best. Adjusting JPEGs really cause degradation. I might have a go at it as well.

I am glad to have been able to help. I cant see the Facebook post (I am guessing due to privacy settings), but I will try friending you if that is OK (not that I am very active on Facebook).

I hope his mom does get a kick out of it. To me one of the great joys of being able to take some reasonable photos is being able to share them and see the pleasure others get out of them too.

Wow, I just looked at the link. That is exactly what I mean about seeing the joys others get from your photos.

Onya mate  (you may need to translate that from Strine to American )

Very cool AT. It's really nice when you can make somebody's' day by providing them with a lovey picture they will cherish.
