Every year our church holds an annual family Christmas Party at Fort William Historical Park. The following photos were taken in the park

1. Partially snow-covered roof. The lines of this roof as well as the stark contrast of the snow covered section of the roof caught my eye. I felt B&W was warranted on this one (I know this is a "Colour" thread, but I've got some colour in the next few.... ;)

2. Christmas Ribbon - I broadened my horizons in attempting a new technique (to me) called selective colour. I kind of like the effect.

3. Locked! - this is a photo that is very much a composition that my daughter would look for. I dedicate this one to Angela!

4. The Red Door - again another foray into the world of selective colour. Had fun trying out new technique and learning along the way. I challenge others to step out and learn one thing this week that they don't already know about

I also like the first, for the reasons Marko gave. I also like the red door in the 4th.

I think the last is the best.
