The opening of a new pedestrian/bicycle bridge across the Elbow River, replacing a suspension bridge washed out in the flooding of 2013, led me to bring my camera down. Sky was overcast until sunset.

3rd one, for light falling down the slope, reflecting on the river, and is the water throwing the light back up on the bank in spots? Looks like a promising area for more exploration.

I like shots 1 and 3 here and i agree with Q.O. - Looks like you could spend hours and hours there.

Thanks for the comments. That stretch of the Elbow River is just below the dam and is a valley. These days the sun shines down it right around sunset, which is around 4:30 pm. Usually the river is frozen, but this year the weather is warmer and the light lovely. Also the new bridges have increased the access to the river from both sides and it's not a construction site any longer.
