That's great. It has a kind of unheimliche / uncanny effect for me--not sure why. Your exposure was probably bang-on in terms of keeping the majority of the image clean, but this seems to have had the side effect of blowing out the edges a little. Not a big deal.

Might be a bit too blue for me but you could easily frame it as is - very well seen and made.

Thanks all....Always seem to be torn between what I want to see from a still image while processing for what I want from a video image. Kinda messed up way of life.

Love this one for the minimalistic look, and the mood, but the blue is just a tad overwhelming.

You might want to check out Flixel - https://flixel.com/showcase/

Ha!...I don't know what to make of that but I'm definitely not goin there. I maybe want a more cinematic look to an image Iggy perhaps that's my aversion to square shots:shrug: Don't know how to explain it but here goes. I tend to look at my shots and others as a still from a motion picture so the best work I think I do I tend to expand mentally into a series that would be a video / motion picture. I love both sides of the fence and am always fascinated between the difference a single shot has to tell a story verses the seeming freedom of dragging the story out to filmic lengths. I can't say with any certainty that my gibberish explains what I'm trying to put forth here but there is is :)

I think I get what you are saying. You want the feel of a cinematic shot, not necessarily the movement. Flixel gives you the movement - aka Harry Potter portraits - but not necessarily the cinematic feel.
