I've decided to look for a good forums I can join and after google searching, found this one. Unfortunately there are too many photography forums to choose from but decided to try this one. We'll see how it goes.

I wouldn't really call myself an expert photography, but more in the range of intermediate. I live in BC, Canada, and where I live there are so many places you can go for great pictures.

Anyway, just thought I'd try out this forums and we'll see how it goes. I hope to share some of my pictures as well.

When I first started out, I did the same thing, joined a bunch of forums. Most are a bunch of bullies, pounding their chest in their latest conquer of a photo they took. They are not much help.

This is by far the best forum I have seen. The traffic is a little slower then other forums, but you will learn a great deal more because of the slower traffic, smaller group.

anyone know a good site where I can share my photos here? Unfortunately I can't upload them directly from my flash-drive. any free photo-sharing site that's reliable will be helpful, I would use google+ but not sure how to do it... thanks for any suggestions.

Most use Flickr, free and pretty easy to use.

Also, I didn't see any General Discussion forums where I could post this: Does anyone else have this problem or know how I can fix it? It seems like every time I do something, it kicks me out so I have to log in repeatedly which is a nuisance. Anyone have any idea why?

Try clicking the stay logged in forever tab, then you won't time out.
