Oh these are so interesting kat and ed - well done.
MA - Your "spin" on these is really cool. The one with the superimposed soldier is awesome.

These ones are very nice, I am still learning and do not know how to do the B&W with some colour here and there and also regarding the ghost? Not sure? BUt it look stunning!

I like your version GregL - it is giving the picture a nice ancient touch. As I like the ghost from Mad Aussie.
And here is my try - because I love to find out, how to deal with photoshop ;)
