View Full Version : Canada Day Fireworks

I decided to try a new technique during this Canada Day's fireworks. It's call pull-focus. Basically I start the exposure out of focus and manually turn the focusing ring to in focus. Exposures are usually between 1sec to 2 seconds in duration.
The first image is likely the best representation of what this technique is suppose to look like. The rest are just kind of interesting to me in an abstract way.

Nice job Mike - These aren't easy to do and you've done a nice job - shot 1 for me.

Great results Mike. 2,6 & 8 are the shots that stand out to me.

Very cool! Some of them look almost like flowers. First and third are my favourite but all are interesting in their own unique way.
