Watched this talk on TED and thought some may also enjoy it, Miru it must be said is not the most riveting speaker but her concept is interesting.
"At the 2008 EG Conference, artist Miru Kim talks about her work. Kim explores industrial ruins underneath New York and then photographs herself in them, nude -- to bring these massive, dangerous, hidden spaces into sharp focus."

if you get a chance, it is worth watching on the screen as she accompanies her commentary with the photos that she is referring to....very powerful!!!

I downloaded it onto my iPod touch so I could watch it and listen (just didn't need to be tied to my PC)
Interesting session. Old places like this have always fasinated me, but I'm one of those people that 'keep out' and 'authorised persons only' actually work on. Some interesting shot here.
