The record for the longest ship to enter the Newcastle harbour here stood since July 1986 and belonged to a bulk carrier. Early this month that long held fell to this cruise ship... the Celebrity Solstice.
She's a big dingy... here's her stats:-

That is huge. Shot 3 & 4 show its size well, but I think my favourite is # 2.The superstructure almost looks too much for the vessel size

Wow! That's a huge freakin' ship. 1 Kilometre long supporting 2850 occupants. Nice set, MA. That second shot is my fav with the sun shining through one of the deck windows. :thumbup:

1041 feet... not metres Iggy. It's almost a 3rd of a kilometre long.

Yeh I'm not sure Cruise ships are my thing either for much the same reasoning.
