I am fascinated by these old structures.
This is Penarth Pier in South Wales, almost exactly opposite the well photographed Clevedon Pier on the other side of the Bristol Channel. Similar to Clevedon, Penarth was where all the Victorians came to walk along the seafront on a Sunday afternoon.
