Hmmm not one for self portraits but people seem to like seeing them so I thought it could be a challenge.
Seeing as I'm as ugly as a hat full of buttholes though don't go expecting any full frontal anything shots http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/hihi.gif
I'll maybe add a few here and there as I think of something different

That lens is quite nice. I noticed it in the email that you had sent me. What is that thing? It was white, so I'm assuming it cost you a pretty penny. 100-400? The objective on it is quite large.

Yeh that lens was the EF 100 - 400 f4.5L IS USM ... about AU$2000 ... ouch.

Very effective 1st shot, great idea - love the mood of the second one.

love them both - the creativity that is - since you are bing so private with the full frontal! LOL
I like the both of them too!

Thought I'd throw up a couple of shots of me on the MTB I found. Might be a remotely interesting to some.
Obviously I didn't take these.
Here I am jumping a creek on a training ride. As you can see by the look on my face I wasn't sure I'd hit this fast enough and therefore wasn't sure I'd land it. I did ... with a thump but stayed upright! As any pilot will tell you ... any landing that doesn't involve crashing is a good landing!
ANYONE can jump ... but you have to be good to Land ;)

This is me at a 24hr race but I'm not racing. I'm in flouro because I'm doing the photo taking for the race promoters and this is a shot of me moving to my next shoot location.

I can't remember who I handed my camera to for that first shot. The 2nd one was taken by a friend who takes a few. Not a great shot, I've seen him do much better but photos of me are rare ... I'm not a prolific self portraiture like SOMEONE I know  ;)
And you are dead right ...that's EXACTLY what I was thinking :(
I hit hard but rolled on safetly.

Great shots MA: you certainly have that look in the first one! :) They both look like good places to ride.

Lots of good places to ride up here within 30 mins of the CBD Greg
That really is a bad jump attempt in that first shot. I'm better when I keep it low and just ride. I collect more plaques and trophies that way ;)
