May be you could lessen the contrast? or at least dodge the rocks? that may direct more attention to pier itself( may be even burn the pier a little?). regards

Hi Taffy,
Another Pier - Makes me smile! :)
This time though, not sure. For me the 2 large foreground rocks are competing with the pier.
They are sharp so our eye goes there. From this position I might have focused deeper into the scene. But I think overall i would have moved in on this one to have the rocks command less attention.
The top part is so dreamy....I think I'd rather be lead there in a dreamier way. JMO though!

Very nicely done, but as Marko has already said. If you could just pick those three rocks up from the right foreground and throw them aside, (;)), this would make it ALL about that dreamy looking pier in the background.
