I'm sure they were edited to death in PP

Not convinced these were heavily edited AT.
The iphone is a fine camera when there is lots of light and when there are no fast moving targets....
Where i vomit in my mouth a little bit is when people suggest it's a good general camera....and the best camera is the one you have with you...blah blah.
Good general cameras are useful when things move or in low light. In my experience the Iphone fails nearly 100% of the time in both these common scenarios. so if you want a picture and don't care about the quality - the iphone is always there to get you something. Good stuff you can only get under certain conditions.

I looked at this at work and again just now. I still have the impression of a color cast on the outdoor photos, and it doesn't seem to handle strong highlights as well as a regular camera would. Doesn't handle it horribly, just it looks like some of the detail is lost. The best of the bunch seems to be the statue.

Really perfect job considering it is only a phone.
