OK, since I suggested it, I'll throw something up here (I'm more certain of the concept than the execution, though).
Aren't we all in part products of not just our experiences, but of those that came before us? For better, worse, or something in between, don't the experiences, habits and traditions of our ancestors influence how we grew up, what we did or tried to do, and how we felt about the world around us?

I don't know if this is exactly haunting but it's in the spirit of Halloween. The fog was very spooky when I went in search of my haunting photo and I found these webs. 18097

Halloween, haunting - it fits. The mood in the second one is especially good.

I've been looking at definitions and synonyms for the word, to see what ideas that sparks. I'm letting it sit in the back of my mind, and hoping I'll have time to try something more. The definition as a verb intrigues me, but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Some creative contributions so far for a difficult theme. We were lucky enough to have our zombie wallk yesterday, so here is one from that. (More will follow later when I have edited them).

Marko, there are people who would claim all cats are haunted by evil spirits. Or are evil spirits. Never understood why.
Paul, I like the ghost nurse. Living museum type situation?
And runmonty has given us the zombies. Because everything needs a good zombie or two.

I haven't posted in a long while, so I thought it was time I joined in :D
Sadly - I am getting an error when trying to upload an image: 500 [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2038"]
I believe this is a security setting (mod_security/mod_security2) within the server side set up.
Is anyone else getting this when attempting to upload an image (I am in the UK - so it could be a remote access setting... or something:D).

Hi Marko,
Sadly the same result from a different computer and a different location within the UK. The Insert Image button above seems to fail every time with the message I displayed earlier. I'll try the URL version next :)
Thanks

My daughter tonight as a LSU Zombie Golden Girl. What sucks is it started to rain a couple hours before Trick or Treat time (and poured the entire time), so instead of trying to take a great picture outside in good light, etc, I had to put my camera back in automatic to make sure I got a good shot of her. 1st time my camera has been back in auto in a couple years.
