I have a few people that want a copy of my tiger eyes image from the other day (with a little modification for LSU). I found this online place called Fabness. With an online deal through SocialLiving, I can get canvas prints that come gallery wrapped and stretched for next to nothing. A 12x18 is $28 shipped and a 20x30 is $56 shipped.
I am just wondering how good the quality of the print is.
They even show a simulation of the print (granted this is a 60x40)

I'm looking for reports on Canvas prints actually.
This place CG proprints cgproprints.com (http://www.cgproprints.com)is getting very good reviews and their regular prices are cheaper than Fabness's sale pricing.
VERY curious to hear anything about quality though firsthand - so wherever u buy from please report back.
Many thX!

I did order a 20x30 and 12x18, so I will let you know. I did buy two more 12x18's and one more 20x30, but have not used them yet.
What I don't understand, the image I uploaded was a 35Mb Tiff file (which I thought was huge). When I put it to the 60x40, it said image quality would be lost. How big does an image have to be for a huge canvas?

I just watched a video from SLR Lounge that they made on on-line canvas prints comparison. He said CGProprints is the best value and quality, and it was't even close, even in the quality vs the professional grade printers. Their 20x30 is $1 more than what I paid for Fabness price through SocialLiving. Fabness normal price for 20x30 is $89.

yup 35 megs is big but 60 inches by 40 inches...is 'huger' than the 35 megs.
Just look at your file size. Image - Image size in photoshop.
It will tell you the print size. Exceeding that size is likely the reason you got your warning.
