Looking through some of my flora shots I realised that I have an attraction for photos that make me look all around them. The type of photo that almost forces the eye to dart around the frame.

I agree - many excellent shots in this thread :highfive: I like a bunch of them but the green, white and pink cactus shot in post 2 is my fave.. I think.

Thank you folks.
As a side note I thought I'd mention that all of these were taken on a wet-ish, overcast day and I was lucky enough to get a couple of hours between showers to take some.
Without the sun creating harsh contrasts and leeching out the colours I find these conditions the best for taking flora photos unless I'm looking for backlight.

hilarious - that the exact same one that popped out to me too... must have some great eye-catching elements to it! beautiful shots m.a.!
