I too love that little orange cloud in number 1. Normally I wouldn't be fussy with the sun right in the middle, however it seems to work here. I think because of the boat coming in from the left (as the subject), and that orange cloud to draw you away from that sun. In Number 2, I find the line from the wake of the boat just seems to bother me somehow (without it I would really like that second one)

Great images - I'll be contrary and prefer no 1 because of the location of the boat and sun. But it's an "A", "A+" sort of choice.
