My family and I will be taking a small excursion to the US side of the falls, and I was wondering if anyone here had any unique experiences with the area, any tips, ideas or any advice on things to do, things to avoid, etc....

My suggestion is cross the border to the Canadian side. We're friendly over here and beside the Canadian falls is much more impressive.
