Well first off I noticed recently that my focus is frequently way off. I find have focused on a background object rather then where I should be or it's just not that sharp. I was thinking that I was just being careless but today I was playing around with my Breezes NKremote program and think that it might be my camera or lens or both. I generally use my camera with the full 51 point grid and when connected to NKremote this shows on the screen. I noticed that my focus point was either not showing up or it was to the right of what I was focusing on. I tried propping my elbows on the table to steady the camera and the focus point is still off by a square. Not exactly sure how to fix this or if I can take my camera into The Camera Store and have them fix it perhaps?

Is your problem just when you use the remote, or all the time?

I noticed a problem before using the remote. The remote just made it more clear to me what was going on.

If it only does it with one lens I would wager that it's something wrong with the focus motor in that one lens. If it's with any lens there might be something wrong with the camera. You might want to try focusing with live view to test it. I think live view uses pixels from your sensor, and through the eyepiece uses a dedicated sensor for focusing.
