I planning a two week or so photo venture from Toronto to the east in early June. Some of the routes I'm considering;

- Taking the north shore skirting the St Lawrence between Montreal and Quebec City

North Option
- From Quebec City continuing along the north shore to Baie-Comeau or perhaps as far as Sept-Iles
- Take the Trans-Labrador highway to Labrador City and maybe Churchill Falls.

South Option
- go to Gaspe and then continue to NB and NS as far as time allows.
(Iggy watch out, I may be knocking on your door)

I know this is a shot in the dark, but does anybody have any experience with any of these routes (especially my northern option). The southern option is more well traveled (and photographed) and easier to get information on. Any assistance would be appreciated in helping me determine which way to choose.

Some of my worries are;
- The Northern Option is much more remote and I afraid that it could be mostly km after km of forests.
- I intend on camping along the way (along the line of Michael W's trip out west). There might not be much in the way of campsites
- If it is all forest... I think it is blackfly season ... so I could get eaten alive. (I know Northern Ontario no fun at that time of year)
