Hi folks,

Been a crazy spring so far!

Finally had a few moments, thought I'd share one of my latest images. This was shot in my studio with the 8x10, it is on Tmax 400 film, developed in Rollo Pyro. Single strobe to camera right in a soft box. 1/60 @ f22. 300mm lens. This scan is a very slight crop of just the film edges (and of course shrunk down to web size :-( Final destination will be a platinum print.

Enjoy! Comments welcomed. Hopefully will have more time after next week do be more forum friendly ;-)

I quite like the overall pose and the environment.

The lighting imo, was insufficient to cover this scene and required a good fill light. I find the blacks underexposed...there is no detail in the hair, the shoes or the floor.

I like it, I must disagree with Marko on this one I think the lighting gives it a unique look and works well with this photo. Nice to see others using film, I do mostly film these days and just not good at getting around to scanning them. I found someone with a dark room who lets me use in now and again so scanning is something I have been negligent on.
