Here's my question, how do you handle bracketing for high dynamic range in a scene, which there very often is in landscape, while you are trying to shoot multiple images for focus stacking? I find that I am quite often bracketing in several images to compensate for the HDR.

I'm not sure I understand the issue. It's just a matter of adding more frames if you need them (either HDR frames or focus stacked frames)

Really enjoyed the podcast. I'm looking forward to trying this technique out!

Hi,
I'm new here and couldn't find a specific place for posting suggestions for new podcasts, although the description for this forum says look here. Only within the last year or so have gotten more serious about photography again after selling all my Canon film cameras (and a very beautiful Toyo 4x5) in the 1990s. What brought me back was my discovery of panoramic photography using computer stitching software. Holy smokes this is cool. I immediately got a Nikon D5100, an 8mm fisheye lens and a Jobu Design panoramic tripod head. Now its the only kind of photography that interests me. There's absolutely nothing to compare to the way a 360 degree spherical panorama can give the impression of being in That Place at that time. I feel sorry for you poor souls stuck in 2-dimensional imagery.
How's that for a podcasting topic?
