Always happy to share, Doug. I didn't do anything more than wrap some Christmas lights around a metal circle I temporarily robbed from a patio table(I think the rim of a bicycle wheel would work much better, but I couldn't get my hands on one) and then went outside at night with a 50mm 1.8 wide open. Severely out of focus and underexposed by almost two stops. The amount of "out of focus is up to you, but you have to underexpose enough to eliminate having anything else but the lights showing. Pretty simple, really. I'm glad you like it.
