This is the remains of the old apple orchard at Kenn where we live. Our house and the others next to use were built on the orchard about 35 years ago hence the names of the houses Apple Acre, Orchard End etc. Orchards are common across Somerset, the apples being used to make cider for which Somerset is famous. Taken during the recent snow.
As always comments (and critiques) welcome!
thanks

Interesting shapes in the trees. B&W works for me.

Like the high contrast and composition and of course I like it being black and white.

I like the choice of B&W. I think the fence really adds to the picture. It draws you eyes through the trees to the distance.

Black and white does work well with this. I like the contrast of the snowless area under the tress compared the the snow on the ground.

My thoughts exactly on this. My eye keeps looking at this contrast, and all in a good way Taffy. Very well composed and perfect choice in b&w.
