This is just lovely. Nice catchlights, the textures in the background are very cool and the portrait itself is quite nice.

She is very lovely and you've done an exceptionally fine job of showing it.

It can be difficult to shoot portrait in b&w with the subject against a lot of texture, but you have done so, so very well here. Very nicely done Lorey.

I quite like the processing and tones here.

Very nicely done. Light is wonderful, eyes are gorgeous, fantastic expression. Have you tried cropping it into a portrait format?

Thanks Matt! Appreciate your comments. I wouldn't do a portrait format because I don't want to loose any of the background textures. Besides, for some reason I have this portrait format 'phobia'. I avoid portrait format as much as I possibly can. I can't explain it but I just don't care for the look. Everything always looks kind of squashed and crunched in portrait orientation to me. But I do use it on occasion, if needed, about 10% of time. I know it sounds kinda strange... I guess I'm just kinda strange that way ;)
