Here's a few shots of the snow-storm we had yesterday in Montreal.

WOW. I heard that Montreal got a one day record for snowfall of 45 cm (about 18 inches for those of you not metrically inclined). The only time I ever saw that much snow in the Toronto area was in 1999 when the mayor called in the army. (115 cm over an 11 day period). At least Montreal can handle it better than us wimpy Torontonians.
I really like that first one. It looks like snow pyramids. It really gives you the sense of the depth of the snow.

Wow - that is some serious snow. Those cars arent going anywhere soon. I like Santa on top of the snow pile, in the first shot.
Amazing amount of snow! Nice shots!

WOW! Awesome pics Marko. All three shots show the enormity of the situation so well.

I'm guessing everyone was late for work... I like the way the mirror sticks out of the snow in the first image, and like the 3rd one. As long as he wasn't trying to get to work.

Great photos, just happy that's not my problem. Shoveling was never a favored chore of mine.

Great images! That storm just blew by Halifax last night/this morning. And as true to form, it started raining half way through and it turned into heavy, heavy, crap to shovel. Luckily we didn't get as much of it as you guys did.

Thx for the comments - It was the worst storm in 40 years with 45 centimetres - that's almost 18 inches.
Luckily my car wasn't buried that bad - and I have a good 'desnowing the car routine' where I only remove the outside barrier of snow then rock the baby to make room in front and back, then shoot out like a rocket in first gear. :)

That's still only half of what we got during "White Juan" back in 2003. ;)
