Hey everyone. Finally decided to join. Just an amatuer who wants to learn how to use my camera. I've always been told I have an eye for composition, but have only had a point and shoot until 6 years ago. I was taking photos of my daughters first Halloween, and took 47 pictures...42 were either up her nose or the top of her head. It was at that point I decided on my first DSLR. I later volunteered for a community paper (who only wanted full on facing the camera set up shots) and started my own web design and development business. During my shoots, I' take the 5-10 mandatories, then start shooting other stuff (sometimes over 100 shots). I also do photography for some my clients (considering purchasing a lifght box for product shots). I decided to upgrade to a Pentax K-5, and as awesome as it is, it looks like an airplane cockpit with all the buttons and switches, so I'm hoping to learn how to use it, and maybe a little less photoshopping.
