All great pics. Like number 1 the best, also like how the ice has built up on the dam too.

I'm all about the hayfield here.
To my eye all shots except 2 look underexposed by a small margin.

Looks that way to me too. Might be the snow throwing the meter off.

Looks like a lovely day and you have some nice shots. I really like the composition of the last one in particular. Must agree about them looking underexposed, but a very quick levels play may improve this IMO. I also think the horizon in the last may be just tad off straight (but it could be an illusion due the other lines??)

Shot #1 for me, but with half the foreground ice cropped out to make it all about the dam.

1st, 3rd and the hay bales. I think HBG might be right about the crop. The ice makes me cold just looking at it.

I really appreciate the comments, especially about my compositions. Usually when I see leading lines, I keep them in, but I see how the ice in the foreground of shot 1 is distracting. I liked the foreground rocks closer to the dam. As for the hayfield, I did try to level the horizon but it is off slightly due to some slight hilliness in the terrain. Thanks for pointing it out. I was trying to keep all of these the same size, the 16:9 ratio.
Thanks also for the comments about the exposure. It is difficult to properly expose cloud, bright sky and snow. I also find it hard to know how much contrast to add in. I do have a calibrated monitor, which is quite a bit darker than usual. I think Marko pointed this out in a podcast.

Good set Mike. I like the contrast between the warm yellow colours in the hayfield and the coldness of the first three. I agree with HBG on the crop, but my favourite is the hayfield.
