After several years we finally got a decent electrical storm a few night back that was not preceded with photo ruining rain!

Love the lighting in that first shot MA. With the house being lit up just ever so slightly makes this moment captured even more dramatic. Very well done.

That first one is awesome the way the lightning is spider-webbed all through the clouds. Very, very cool.

Another vote for number 1. As HBG said "With the house being lit up just ever so slightly makes this moment captured even more dramatic"

Another vote for the first one, the sky color and the lighting on the house and cars.

Wow so difficult to capture. #1 is also my favorite. Can I ask for how long you had to leave the shutter open to capture these?

Thanks ewaizel.
There are two ways I do this ... 1 is I simply use the timer only anything from 10 secs through to 30 secs depending on how frequent the lightning ... or 2 ... I use a remote and Bulb setting and sit there with it open until I think I have the shot.
It should be noted that I while waiting for the lightning I used a very powerful LED light to 'paint' in the house and cars.
