For those lovers of this type of photography (I include myself obviously).
I found this book called "Digital Landscape Photography" by Michael Frye.
He spends most of his time in US national parks in the west. He especially spends most of his time at Yosemite. In this book he tries to emulate Ansel Adams style. He does a good job doing that.
He also has a Flickr link for those interested: Flickr: Michael Frye's Photostream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/MichaelFrye)
Enjoy
