Grins ... well, It is a nice moment you captured, for sure. But in all honesty, it is a bit on the soft side, there is nothing really sharp in the image for me. Shutter speed needs to be a bit higher to get the freezing of the water splashes done more accurately. And i realize it is tough light, so you most likely had to shoot wide open ...

Yes, VERY interesting subject, and as Bambi said, definitely worth shooting again, if given the chance.

Well, at the end thanks to all for the comments. Yes, agree, a faster exposure will help next time. It will be hard to repeat this one in particular. Will need to cross the Pacific for that :D

Lots of times we simply miss new threads for one reason or another.
as you did here - please feel 100% free to 'bump' it...no worries at all.
I like the shot and the roar overall. These shots are hard to capture perfectly but you definitely captured a mood here.

Very cool moment... yes, there are things that I would like to see better from a technical perspective but, wow, to have been there and saw that and captured it... nice!
