Hi guys,

I have recently grabbed a Giottos tripod and ball head. After a few weeks, I have written my review of them. You can read it here:

Trépied Giottos MT-8361 & rotule MH-1300 [Test] (http://bloguedegeek.net/2009/01/15/trepied-giottos-mt-8361-rotule-mh-1300-test/)

I haven't found alot of information on Giottos online, have some of you heard of that brand? Have you already tried Giottos gear?

Giottos is top-end gear; you won't be disapointed.

I use a Giottos monopod and I love it.

By the way. That ballhead is rated at something like 25 lbs, the tripod supports under 20 lbs... just some useful stuff there, tripod would snap before the ballhead. I use a smaller ballhead. The Giottos M7001 ballhead w/ a sliding plate quick release. It supports 13 lbs., might be 15.

Unless you have a ridiculous amount to spend on gear, Giottos is the best. I have never had a problem.
