My Monday was last Tuesday

When my boss quit. My coworker had Thursday off (there were only 3 of us in the department to begin with) and access to the site for transmitting and receiving files is tightly controlled (there's a separation of duties component, so I don't have access, and there was a scramble to add someone with access to additional portions of the site), so getting stuff taken care of was - interesting. Then on Friday we had a big meeting with the topics being "Have we remembered everything that she was doing?" and "Does anyone know how to do this particular thing?" We've recently acquired another place and the merger is about to start. I have no backup for my end of day duties (my boss was my backup) and the logical candidate to teach is heavily involved in the merger. He says he can start learning sometime in late September.

So if I'm alternating between massive posting and massive silence, that's why. (I'm really not trying to flood the forums :headslap:)

yuck. it all sounds stressful. Hopefully at the end things will work much better and not so dependent on one or 2 people.
