I was trying to take a nap and saw interesting light in my room from the window to the side table. So I took out the tripod and took this picture. The vase was intentionally left upside down and off focus. But now I'm wondering whether it really works.

If you wouldn't have said the vase was upside down, no one would have known. I really like this image with the sharpness of the quilt, blur of the vase, and the blackness of the background. I don't know what it is, but this image works very nicely, I wouldn't change a thing.

Thank you, theantiquetiger. Anyone has any other comments on this photo?

It is a lovely light on that quilt, however, the vase, upside down or upside right, is simply a distraction to me. It would have been a good light to showcase something though.

I'm thinking a sleeping cat. Marko and Michael might even agree with me on that one. It is wonderful light, none the less.
